Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born 16 March 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan, is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea was first seen as part of the cast in Irish or British TV shows in 2009, began her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. As early as 2012 she was on sitcoms or sketch comedy. The actress began to appear regularly in panel shows following her win of an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016 and 2017, she was the team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012 she was the second woman ever to win the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea was awarded the award to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life after Bea turned three, was the suicide victim. Bea was informed of his suicide only after the age of thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea in honor of her late father. Bea also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) who was a secondary school teacher jockey trainer and former professional jockey. Her family were horse and race meeting obsessed. Bea was a child an instructor at the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she didn't want a racing career. She was more interested in the performance arts.
