Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. Growing up, she listened to lots of classical music and traditional Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic shows. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in vocals at age 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She furthered her training in music at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. As a student and as a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choirs. When she moved to America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in the southern part of California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. The passion and love she has for music, art, and performing keep her engaged with a variety of local initiatives as a teacher and performer. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher at the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform the traditional Latin American song.
